Victoria Ponce de Leon joined Silman in 2011 and became a Principal of the firm in 2017. She is involved in the design and project management of renovation, adaptive reuse, and new construction projects for clients in the primary/secondary, higher education, residential, and museum sectors. She has worked on a number of the firm’s important cultural and educational projects including the Kline Chemistry Lab at Yale University and the new building for the Whitney Museum of American Art in Manhattan. She is a Lecturer for the Graduate Program of the Yale University School of Architecture course, “Systems Integration and Development in Design.” Additionally, Victoria is active in industry organizations, serving as the University Outreach Committee Chair from 2009-2013 for the Structural Engineers Association of New York (SEAoNY). She was an ACE Mentor from 2013-2014.
