Jason Boral joined Silman in 2015 and was promoted to Associate in 2022. He has worked on projects up and down the East Coast since starting at Silman and has been a part of an eclectic group of projects during that time. He prides himself as a solutions-oriented engineer who enjoys stepping into a project at its most chaotic phase and finding a path to success.
A few of Jason’s recently completed projects include a new eight-story office building in the TriBeCa neighborhood of New York (15 Laight Street) a new ground up library in Washington, DC (Lamond Riggs), a new four-story, 110,000 sf elementary school in Arlington, VA (Cardinal Elementary School), a three-story, 36,000 sf extension of a charter school in Northwest DC (Ideal Academy) and the new Park Police Stables on the National Mall in Washington, DC. He is currently managing the design of a 636,000 sf mixed use development in Alexandria, VA and the new Alexander Hamilton Visitor Center to be built overlooking Great Falls in Paterson, NJ.
Outside of structural engineering, Jason enjoys exploring the different museums, neighborhoods, and parks of in and around DC with his wife and two children.
