
Since joining Silman’s New York office in 1998, Mike Auren has managed a diverse selection of projects ranging from historic preservation to new construction and renovation. His work ranges in scale from small art installations to large institutional, higher education, and private development projects.
Mike founded and began managing the Boston office in 2007 and was promoted to Principal in 2017. His project experience has included the renovation and expansion of Harvard Art Museums; the new mixed-use 100 Hood Park Development in Charlestown, MA; and the acclaimed Grace Farms in New Canaan, CT.
In addition to having led some of the Boston office’s noteworthy new construction and renovation projects, Mike’s portfolio includes several historic preservation projects, such as the historic Brooklyn Museum in Brooklyn, NY; Fort Adams in Newport, RI; and Fort Warren in Boston, MA.
