Social Responsibility

We have a long history of working on projects that support and enrich communities through social initiatives and nonprofit organizations.
Building Equity & Pro Bono Work
Building Equity is an initiative that expands and formalizes Silman's efforts to provide pro bono and low bono professional engineering services to support nonprofits and public programs. Our engineers are committed to spending 1,000 project hours annually to create spaces that strengthen communities and contribute to societal equity, particularly in the areas of housing, education, healthcare, access to culture, and improvement of quality of life.
