The structural system is a combination of cast-in-place concrete for the parking levels and structural steel with composite concrete deck for the remaining levels. The Standard’s cladding is a combination of precast concrete and metal panels. The foundations are deep drilled shafts and grade beams.
The Standard at New Brunswick provides modern off-campus housing for Rutgers University students. Features of the new 21-story building include a state-of-the-art fitness center, and study spaces, ground-level retail, and over 100 parking spaces.
